My name is Ally.
I like stories and spend most of my time and money on books.
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and am now majoring in documentary studies in upstate New York.
I decorate cookies in a bakery and am also a waitress in a diner.
I'm the kind of girl that can never have too many dresses and will always want to play outside if given the option.
In my opinion nothing beats good food and good company.
My hedgehog is my favorite.

It’s these days in which my dreads weren’t a complete pain in the ass that I miss them like crazy.

Oh, hey. In a week these puppies are three months old. That’s 1/4 of a year, how precious.

How long does it take to get hair into dreads? asked by Anonymous

A couple of my friends and I knew what we were doing about 75%. But with much help of YouTube videos it took about four hours to finish about 1/3 of my head (the left side, 9 dreads) However, like I said, we were kind of learning as we were going.

Finishing the rest today shouldn’t take as long, at least I sure hope not.

Mostly, my friends and I crocheted extensions at the ends, but only about two or so inches worth :)

Hi tumblr, I’m working on dreads. Judge all you like, they’re really growing on me.And it took me a total of six minutes to get ready this morning, loving it.
